Aloo Gobi


Serving-3 people

Ingredients

1 Medium Cabbage
1 Medium Potato
Coriander powder.... 1 Tsp.
Cumin powder.......... 1 Tsp.
Turmeric powder......1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Sugar.......1.5 tsp
Salt............2 tsp
Cumin seeds......1 Tsp

Method
Chop the cabbage in small pieces
Peel the potato and Chop it in small pieces
In a pan take 3 Tsp oil and add cumin seeds
When you hear the cracking add potato
Let them cook for 3 mins and then add chopped cabbage
Add 1/2 cup water and cover the pan and let the cabbage and potato cook for 5 min
Now add Tumeric power , Red chilli power , corinder powder, cumin powder, sugar and salt
Close the pan with a lid and cook for 20 mins and add very little as an when required so the subzi does not stick to the pan and slowly turn it so it doesn't stick

Have it with Roti or Paratha
