Kala Chana
Serving : 4 people
Ingredients: 2 large tomato
2 medium onion
3/4 cup of kala chana
3 Tsp Salt
1 tsp kasuri methi
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 green chilly
2 tsp tumeric powder
1 Tsp red chilly powder
2 Tsp dhania jeera power
2 Tsp coriander powder
1 Tsp ginger garlic paste
2 Tsp coriander powder
1 Tsp ginger garlic paste
4 tsp Garam masala
Corinder to garnish
Method :
Soak the Kala Chana Overnight and pressure cook it with pinch of soda.
Cut onions & green chilly into finer pieces.
Cut the tomato and make a puree out of it.
Take 2 Tsp oil in a pan and add cumin seeds when the oil gets heated up.
Add the chopped onions and green chillies
When onions turn translucent add ginger garlic paste and tomato paste.
Let it cook for 10 mins then add tumeric powder , salt, dhania jeera, red chilly powder, kasuri methi , coriander power and garam masala and let it cook for 5-7 minutes
Cut the tomato and make a puree out of it.
Take 2 Tsp oil in a pan and add cumin seeds when the oil gets heated up.
Add the chopped onions and green chillies
When onions turn translucent add ginger garlic paste and tomato paste.
Let it cook for 10 mins then add tumeric powder , salt, dhania jeera, red chilly powder, kasuri methi , coriander power and garam masala and let it cook for 5-7 minutes
Add boiled kala chana and let it cook for 10-12 min
Add water to maintain consistency
In the end garnish with corinder
