Saag Chicken


Serving: 5 persons


Ingredients:

1 bunch of spinach
Boneless Chicken 800 grams
Butter - 25 gms
Ginger Garlic paste 1 Tbsp
Red chilli powder 3 tablespoon
1 Tbsp jeera
1 Tbsp oil
6-7 Cloves
3 tbsp Tumeric powder
Salt 2.5 Tbsp
garam masala / Tandoori Chicken masala 2 Tbsp
3 medium Tomatos
1 medium onion
4 tablespoons Dhania Jeera powder
1/2 cup cream/milk
1 green chilly


Method:

Cut onions , tomatos , spinach in small pieces and make a paste of each of them separately.

Cut chicken into small pieces and cook it with 2 tbsp of oil in a separate vessel with jeera.

In another vessel take butter , jeera and onions and green chilly and saute them

Sauté for 5 minutes, add ginger-garlic paste .

Cook for 3 minutes and then Add tomato puree, red chilli powder,tumeric powder, dhania jeera powder garam masala powder, salt and 1/2 cup of water and cook it for 10 mins.

Then add the spinach puree and cook it for 10 mins ( Add water for consistency)

Now add chicken and 1/2 cup cream or milk and let it cook for 15 mins.

Saag chicken is ready to be eaten with roti and rice.
